Electrical Designer – Västerås, Sweden
Your tasks
We are looking for an engineer to take overall responsibility, from requirements specification to finished product, for the electronics, software for communication, control and safety of the robot tools, tool-changing and other peripheral equipment.
RSP’s products are adapted to the robot’s application and way of communicating to the tool via digital signals or field buses that must comply with regulations and machine directives.
Your profile and personal qualities
Industrial robots are increasing in number and applications and we are looking for someone who has a deep and genuine technical interest in several areas but mainly electronics design, embedded circuits with associated software and has an understanding of how these communicate. You are self-starter and appreciate planning your work on your own.
Education and experience
We expect you to be a college graduate with several years of experience in electronics design and experience programming logic circuits, field buses and have worked with safety rated electronics. Interest or knowledge of wireless transmission is an advantage.
You have a good command of both spoken and written Swedish and English.
Form of employment: Full-time, until further notice.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
