Senior Electronics Design Engineer – Västerås Sweden

Your role with us: As an Electronics Designer with us, you will have the opportunity to work through the entire process from requirements, schedule, layout, testing to finished product. You will have overall responsibility for electronics and software for communication, control and safety of the robot’s tools, tool change and other peripherals. Our products are customised to the robot’s application and communicate with the tool via digital signals or fieldbuses that must comply with regulations and machine directives. Here, you will have the opportunity to plan your work independently and to drive development yourself and together with your colleagues.

Examples of work tasks:

• Electronics design in Altium Designer.
• Develop innovative solutions for completely new products and develop new components and functions for existing solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers on projects.
• liaise with suppliers to ensure that your design is as good and cost-effective as possible
• Contribute to the improvement of our working methods and processes together with the team.
• Keeping up with technological developments and monitoring industry news to stay ahead of the curve.

Who are you? We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest, mainly in electronics design and embedded circuits with associated software. You should have an understanding of how these communicate. You have a university degree in engineering and several years of experience in electronics design and experience in programming logic circuits and fieldbuses. It is an advantage to have worked with safety-rated electronics and to have an interest or knowledge of wireless transmission.
