The RSP Safety module combine transfer of control signals and power with a built-in safety unit. It is designed for a variety of robot applications, and it is available for a number of robots and connections. Using this safety module, the tool changer will not open – independent of control siugnal from the robot controller – unless it is empty or, alternatively, when the tool changer (TC) with tool attachment (TA) is in a safely docked position in a tool stand.

 

The safety module is to be used together with the Moduflex series tool changers from RSP, and it is a unique and patented product for safe tool changing with robots, highly suitable for automotive production.
