Introducing CoboShift – The new generation tool changers for collaborative robots

We are pleased to announce the launch of CoboShift, a brand new product family of tool changers designed specifically for collaborative robots (cobots). The new product line offers both manual and automatic tool changers, giving companies the flexibility to choose the solution that best suits their specific needs.

Developed with revolutionary precision, the CoboShift range of tool changers offers repeatability with accuracy of as little as 0.001 mm. This puts CoboShift in a world-class position in terms of accuracy and ensures that every tool change is made with absolute precision, which is crucial for demanding manufacturing processes.

The compact design and innovative media modules allow electrical signals, air and other media to be transferred directly through the tool changer, eliminating the need for external cables and hoses that can restrict the robot’s freedom of movement.

Technical flexibility for all needs

CoboShift is available in two variants:

• Manual Tool Changer: Ideal for applications where tool changes are less frequent, but where quick and easy handling is still essential.
• Automatic Tool Changer: A solution for applications where automated tool changes are required to minimize production downtime and maximize robot uptime.

Both variants offer the highest precision and reliability through their compact media modules, which enable the transmission of electrical signals and air/vacuum directly through the tool changer. This provides users with an integrated and cost-effective way to connect their tools without limiting robot performance.
