Report a Security Vulnerability

Robot System Products takes the cybersecurity of our products seriously. If you have discovered or suspect a vulnerability, security issue or cybersecurity incident affecting one of our products, please contact us as soon as possible.

How to Report

Send your report to:

security@robotsystemproducts.com

Please use Security vulnerability report as the email subject.

Initial contact is made through regular, unencrypted email. Do not include passwords, personal data, exploit code or other particularly sensitive information in your first message. If further technical information is required, we will provide instructions for an appropriate secure transfer method.

To help us investigate the issue, please include the following information in your initial report whenever possible:

  • Affected product and model
  • Serial number and software or firmware version, if available
  • A clear description of the suspected vulnerability or incident
  • How the issue was discovered and whether it can be reproduced
  • The potential impact on the security or operation of the product
  • The date and time when the issue was discovered
  • Your contact details

What Happens After You Report?

We normally acknowledge receipt of your report within two business days. We will then perform an initial assessment, contact you if further information is required and coordinate the continued investigation and any necessary corrective measures.

If the reported matter is subject to mandatory reporting under the EU Cyber Resilience Act, Robot System Products will manage the required notification to the relevant authorities.

Coordinated Disclosure

Please allow Robot System Products reasonable time to investigate and, where necessary, address the issue before information about the vulnerability is made public. The timing and content of any disclosure should be coordinated with us to reduce the risk of harm to customers, users or products.

Please do not:

  • Exploit the vulnerability beyond what is necessary to confirm its existence
  • Access, modify or delete information belonging to another person or organisation
  • Disrupt production, operations, safety functions or availability
  • Use social engineering, phishing or physical intrusion
  • Disclose technical details before a coordinated assessment has been completed

This reporting channel is intended for security vulnerabilities affecting products supplied by Robot System Products. General support, service and warranty matters should be submitted through our regular contact channels.
